Turtle Trot February

Time for an update on Turtle Trot. It turns out I have stitched only on three of TT projects. I will start with Christmas Rules, I stitched on it last weekend and I am really happy with my progress. I started this in January for the Crazy Challenge. The chart has 12 parts, I was planning to stitch one each month and have it ready for Christmas but I seriously underestimated how long the top part will take. Now the top is done and the first part is started.

Pora na lutowy wpis Turtle Trot. Po przejrzeniu prac okazało się, że od ostatniego wpisu zajęłam się tylko trzema z nich. Zacznę od 'Christmas Rules', wyszywałam w ostatni weekend tą pracę i udało mi się całkiem sporo zrobić. Zaczęłam ten haft na początku stycznia i planowałam wyszywać po jednej części miesięcznie i skończyć go na Święta, ale dość poważnie nie doceniłam ilości czasu potrzebnej na zrobienie góry, która jest jakby nagłówkiem dla całości. Teraz góra jest już zrobiona i nawet udało mi się zacząć pierwszą część.

Here are other two: 'Donner' has some shiny stitches already in and 'Rue du Port' still doesn't look like anything, so you have to trust me when I say it's a roof :)

Oto pozostałe dwa: 'Donner', na którym postawiłam już pierwsze błyszczące krzyżyki i 'Rue du Port', nawet wiedząc, że ta wyhaftowana część to dach, ciężko mi go tam zauważyć.

Theme-a-licious February check in

I'm a bit late with this check in, I caught a really nasty cold and was down with fever for a few days.
The January theme was flowers and gardens. I made good progress on 'Blackberry Plant' and 'Rue du Port' and also stitched on 'Mini Mystery Mandala'. The first two were started in January, there isn't anything green on 'Rue du Port' yet, but hopefully will be soon :) I stitched the garden gates on the Chatelaine piece, you can't see much progress as they were in a pale greyish blue color.

Jestem nieco spóźniona z tym wpisem, załapało mnie paskudne przeziębienie i przez kilka dni miałam gorączkę.
Styczniowym tematem Theme-a-licious były kwiaty i ogrody. Planowałam skupić się na 'Blackberry Plant' i 'Mini Mystery Mandala', ale dodałam jeszcze 'Rue du Port'. MMM to stary WIP, zrobiłam bramy dookoła ogrodu. Pozostałe dwie prace zaczęłam w styczniu.

The theme for February is all things fantasy - I'll try to focus on Goblin's Fae Guide.

Temat na luty to fantastyka - może wreszcie uda mi się zająć Goblin's Fae Guide.

Day 8 - Isabelle Vautier - Rue du Port

Yesterday I started Rue du Port as planned. Did not manage to stitch much and I think I will be switching order of charts for smaller starts today and tomorrow and then bigger ones for the weekend. Next year I will organize this a little bit better.

Wczoraj zgodnie z planem udało mi się zacząć Rue du Port. Nie zrobiłam niestety zbyt wiele i zastanawiam się nad zmiana kolejności prac, tak aby prace mniejsze zacząć dziś i jutro, a te większe pozostawić na weekend. W przyszłym roku rozplanuję to nieco lepiej.
