TT 1..3 and some pics / TT1.3 i trochę zdjęć

I finished working on TT in this round of the rotation, I washed her to mark it and will be moving to my other WIPs now. Here's how she looks now:

Zakończyłam pracę nad TT na ten miesiąc - wyprałam ją i już jest schowana - czas zająć się innymi pracami. Jak widzicie udało się połączyć tło:

I'm working on Hip (that's how I'll call St. Hyppolite from now on) now, not moving to fast as the repetition of the motives bores me pretty quickly. I'm trying to stay focused as at the end of this week I'm supposed to post a progress photo on our SAL blog. I do like the happy spring colors, here's a peek (see how it shines) :

Pracuję teraz nad Hipem (tak będę skrótowo nazywać St. Hyppolite), tempo jest dość wolne, bo nuży mnie powtarzanie motywów na całej szerokości schematu. Staram się jednak koncentrować, bo zgodnie z zamierzeniami pod koniec tego tygodnia powinnam zamieścić zdjęcie na naszym SALowym blogu . Podobają mi się bardzo wiosenne kolory, oto zdjęcie detalu (na tym zdjęciu dość dobrze widać blask jedwabiu):



Well, I did like the happy spring colors so much that I have started another design. Yes, I know, I need counseling... I counted my WIPs and I have 13 of them. The worst thing is what this makes me think about - that 13 is an unlucky number so I should start one more and also that I really do need to update the sidepanel LOL

Te wiosenne kolory spodobały mi się tak bardzo, że zaczęłam kolejny schemat. Chyba potrzebuję terapii...policzyłam wszystkie moje prace i wychodzi mi 13. Obiecuje w najbliższym czasie uaktualnić boczny panel.

I want to thank everyone for the kind comments on my finish - this is such a rare occasion that I really treasure it and I'm glad I have someone to share it with.

I promised my Polish readers to take pics of my newest HDF, the other pic is of HDF 35ct linen in Mushroom (I looove this color)and some Silkweaver solos (the bottom ones are opalescent but I like the top ones more).

Chciałam bardzo podziękować za miłe komentarze z okazji ukończenia Skarpety. Nieczęsto zdarza mi się kończyć prace, więc szczególnie ciesze się jak wreszcie coś skończę.

Jak obiecałam zdjęcia jedwabiu HDF - zestaw cieniowanych na luty - całość i z bliska. Dziś było troszkę słońca, więc zdjęcia mniej więcej oddają rzeczywistość.
Na ostatnim zdjęciu len HDF w kolorze Mushroom ( niezwykle podoba mi się ten kolor i już kombinuję co by tu na nim...) a z boku Solo Silkweavera (dwa dolne są opalizujące, ale bardziej podobają mi się górne kolory).



If you go to Silkweaver store here and subscribe you will be notified when new Solos appear, it's always Tuesday and subscribers can shop an hour before the other customers. The Solos are much cheaper than other fabrics (though subscribing to Odds and End is also a good idea) and they dissapear very quickly, the best ones are gone in minutes.

Na stronie Silweavera - a dokładnie tutaj można włączyć powiadomienia emailowe o nowych Solo. Pojawiają się one zawsze we wtorki o 18 i osoby, które mają subskrypcję mogą robić zakupy na godzinę przed innymi klientami. Solo są znacznie tańsze niż tkaniny z katalogu (subskrypcja na Odds and Ends jest też dobrym pomysłem), trafiają się prawdziwe perełki a najlepsze tkaniny znikają w ciągu kilku minut.

Well, as soon as I saw the threads I could not be stopped - I just had to start stitching. I took a floss toss pic before putting all the threads into floss-a-way bags, it's a bit yellowish as it was way to late for sunlight.


Jak tylko zobaczyłam nici już nic nie mogło mnie powstrzymać. Udało mi się zrobić zdjęcie zestawu przed zapakowaniem do to torebek - troszkę żółtawe, ale było już zdecydowanie za późno na światło słoneczne.



And here's a pic of how much I stitched so far - I will have to use the frame as the hoop isn't wide enough this is a bit more than half the width it will be. The size scares me a bit, I stitch charts that are similar size but they are mostly HAEDs so I start from top left and work my way right and down so before I get to the right end or the bottom I have about 1/3 done and here I need to work my way to the right end with each motif.


A oto ile udało mi się wyhaftować - musze przełożyć haft na ramę, bo tamborek zbyt wąski, teraz to troszkę więcej niż połowa szerokości schematu. Rozmiar troszkę mnie przeraził, w robocie mam tylko HAED podobne gabarytowo do tego giganta a w nich przesuwam się w dół i na prawo (co zresztą widzać po zdjęciach prac) więc jak docieram do prawego końca lub dołu schematu zazwyczaj 1/3 jest już skończona. Tutaj niestety przez całą szerokość trzeba ciągnąć każdy motyw, więc od początku widać szerokość w pełnej okazałości.




It's stitched on 36ct Antique White Edinburgh linen, 2x2. There are of course some problems - one - I miss one of the colors I need for this part and I forgot to order it in the second part of the threads which is already on their way - but this isn't too bad and I can work my way around it. And two - I have just one frame wide enough and Roseanne is currently on it. Would take her off but this arrived on Fri (from ebay blue is standard single strand 300yd, red is premium 6 stranded):

Haftuję na lnie 36ct, 2x2. Są oczywiście pewne problemy natury technicznej - po pierwsze udało mi się nie zamówić jednego z kolorów potrzebnego do tej części - nie będzie go nawet w następnej partii, która już została wysłana - ale zapewne zajmę się innymi elementami schematu pozostawiając sporą dziurę. Po drugie jedyną dostatecznie szeroką ramę okupuje Roseanne. Zdjęłabym ją bez wyrzutów sumienia, gdyby nie to, że w piątek dotarła kolejna paczuszka, tym razem z ebay - też nici HDF - czerwone to premium złożone z 6 nitek a błękitny to standard pojedyńcza nitka




Właśnie to premium zamówiłam z zamiarem użycia na Roseanne i chyba odłożę na parę dni Hipolita i zajmę się skończeniem choć pierwszej części Roseanne. Albo po prostu zamówię kolejną ramę :)

I bought the premium especially for Roseanne and I'm dying to see if it will look good so most probably I'll put Hip away for a few days and try to finish at lease the first part of Roseanne. Or just buy another frame LOL
